My Background and Approach
I have over a decade of experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies and helping individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and front line mental health experience during the COVID pandemic. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology at Central Methodist University in 2008 and then went on to pursue a Masters degree in Social work from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. After two years of clinical supervision, I obtained my LMSW. My career began working with adolescents and adults in a community based mental health setting. I also have experience working 9+ years of hospice and long term care experience as a front line social worker during the COVID-19 pandemic and trauma informed care.
