About My Clients
I support teens (14+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and exploring their identity and sense of self. I am committed to working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and trans and nonbinary clients, and I offer a collaborative, affirming space for anyone who feels aligned with my approach and is seeking support.
My Background and Approach
I bring both professional and personal insight to my work, including my own experiences with anxiety and depression. I have worked and volunteered in roles such as crisis support and peer support for youth, which informs a compassionate and supportive approach. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University, am a Professional Associate Counselor working toward licensure. Guided by Liberation Psychology, Social Justice, and Disability Justice frameworks, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported in making meaningful changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people have the capacity to grow and change at any stage of life, and that we all carry strengths and skills that can support us in this work. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, with you as the expert on your life and me walking alongside you through different chapters. Therapy can be a space to practice being human, learning, experimenting, reflecting, and finding new ways of relating to ourselves and the world. I focus on building a trusting connection and adapting to your unique needs and experiences, creating a space where everyone feels acknowledged, respected, and supported in their journey.
