About My Clients
As a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 20 years of experience, I help clients navigate some of the most difficult transitions in life — divorce, breakups, grief, anxiety, depression, and identity loss. If your life looks completely different than the one you imagined, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling untethered and unsure of how to reconnect with themselves after something life-altering.
My Background and Approach
’m Natalie Kusturic, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Fort Lauderdale, specializing in the treatment of relational and developmental trauma. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities to address the underlying emotional and somatic imprints of early attachment disruptions, chronic stress, and unresolved trauma. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic-based cognitive behavioral therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy—interventions that support nervous system regulation, trauma reprocessing, and cognitive integration. These tools are especially effective for clients whose symptoms persist despite traditional talk therapy. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, and emotional dysregulation. My practice emphasizes identifying trauma-related patterns, fostering internal safety, and restoring adaptive functioning through a collaborative, insight-oriented process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests

These early influences form the lens through which we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world. When you’ve spent years adapting to your environment rather than living from your true self, it can lead to emotional disconnection and distress. Many people find themselves struggling in intimate relationships, feeling anxious or depressed, facing workplace challenges, or carrying a deep sense of inadequacy—all symptoms of patterns that once protected us but now keep us stuck. I take a holistic approach to therapy—one that considers not just the mind, but also the body, spirit, finances, and social context. These areas are deeply interconnected, and true healing happens when we look at the full picture of your life. In our work together, I bring an open mind, a nonjudgmental presence, and a warm, grounded
