About My Clients
I have experience working with both children and adults suffering from a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and addiction.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in the mental health field since 2010. I hold dual BAs in Psychology and Holistic Health and Wellness, and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also trained in yoga and meditation (teaching since 2008), Substance Abuse Counseling, Mindfulness Based, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (intensively trained). My overall approach to counseling and coaching is person-centered, strengths-based, and holistic in philosophy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Having grown up around mental illness and addiction, I became dedicated to the cause of helping others early on. For most of my career, I have worked with vulnerable and underserved populations including the homeless and incarcerated and continue to give to communities in need. I am a mother. I am a survivor. I strongly believe in the fight for inclusivity, equality, equity, and anti-racism.
