About My Clients
I work with couples who feel stuck, whether that means having the same fight on repeat, feeling more like roommates than partners, or navigating life after an affair. Many come to me after trying to talk it out on their own and landing in the same place. Some are facing mismatched desire and want to feel wanted again, not just functional. Others aren't sure the relationship should continue and need a clear process to find out. All are ready to stop carrying it alone.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist trained primarily in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), developed by Terry Real, with additional training in the Gottman Method, PACT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I'm also trained in Somatic Sex Therapy with Holly Richmond, which shapes how I work with the physical side of connection, not just the verbal one. I don't believe most couples are broken. I believe they're missing the right tools for exactly what's happening between them, and once they have those tools, real change happens fast. That shapes how I show up in the room: direct, honest about what I see, and always on your team. I'll tell you the pattern I see, even when it's uncomfortable, because naming it clearly is usually the fastest way through it. Directness, to me, is a form of care, not criticism. Sessions are virtual, so I work with couples across Massachusetts.
