About My Clients
What happens when your body forces you to pause—but your mind won’t? I work best with individuals in transitional phases of life and those recovering from cardiac events by helping you reconnect with your values and build a life that truly aligns with what matters most to YOU. We’ll explore how to make space for difficult emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and commit to actions that help you live life fully. Our work is about creating something more intentional, sustainable, and meaningful.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed counselor in NY and PA with nearly a decade of experience helping adults navigate transitions, recover from health crises, and realign their lives with what matters most. Prior to starting my practice, I worked as a supervisor on a Forensic Assertive Community Treatment team and led workshops for cardiac rehab patients. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to the whole person. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Process-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mind-body practices to help clients move through discomfort, shift stuck patterns, and take meaningful action. I specialize in working with high-achieving professionals, individuals recovering from cardiac events, and college students in transitional phases. Between sessions, I offer free tools and resources through curated apps to support continued growth. Therapy with me is a space to reconnect with yourself, make empowered choices, and build a life that feels sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe, and research supports, that the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. That’s why I offer free consultations—so you can get a sense of how it feels to talk with me before committing. Just like a surgeon relies on a scalpel, therapists rely on the therapeutic relationship to evoke meaningful change. I show up with authenticity, curiosity, persistence, humor, and mindfulness, and I revisit my values regularly to stay grounded and grow as a person and clinician. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in what matters most to you. Outside of sessions, I prioritize balance and connection through movement, time in nature, and being with loved ones—including my dog and cat. I bring this full, human perspective into the work we do—so you’re not just heard but feel truly understood.
