About My Clients

I provide radical empathy for those navigating justice-involved histories, helping you move past labels to reclaim your identity. For those told they're "too much," I offer a high-capacity space to manage high-volume emotions. As an queer woman, I provide lived-affinity and dialectical tools to architect your future.

My Background and Approach

I come to therapy honoring your journey and the bravery that it takes for you to show up. Having worked in a variety of settings that are naturally dehumanizing, and so my treatment of every individual in a non-negotiable. We are all human and no choice we make fully defines us. Whether I am working with a client on DBT skills to manage emotions, walking with them through their history to gain insight, or moving them past unhelpful patterns, I do so with radical empathy, understanding, and a relationship built on enough trust to call you out when necessary.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Your history is a chapter, not the final word. I specialize in working with those who feel their stories are 'too much'—whether you are navigating the justice system, recovery from addiction, the nuances of your identity, or the exhausting weight of an emotional life that you’ve been told is 'just too sensitive' or 'too difficult' to handle. My practice is built on the belief that human dignity is non-negotiable, and I offer a space where radical empathy meets tactical strategy. With roots in forensics and corrections, I don’t flinch at the heavy stuff. I am a witness to your history and a strategist for your future. We don’t just talk; we build the architecture for change. I provide "boots-on-the-ground" dialectical skills—mindfulness, distress tolerance, and regulation—to move you from surviving to flourishing. I see the person, not the history. Whether you are navigating a complex past or the exhausting weight of being told you are "too much," your dignity is non-negotiable here.
