I work with adults and teens across California who may look high-functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, stuck, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. I specialize in anxiety, eating disorders, relationship issues, and mood-related challenges, and I often support clients who are navigating perfectionism, people pleasing, overthinking, painful patterns, body image struggles, and the pressure to keep it all together.
My Background and Approach
I am Natalie Dungey, MA, AMFT #143503, and I provide virtual therapy for adults and teens across California. I specialize in anxiety, eating disorders, relationship issues, and mood-related challenges, and I often work with clients who may appear high-functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, stuck, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. My approach is warm, relational, and practical, integrating psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, attachment-based work, trauma-informed care, and emotionally focused therapy. I aim to create a space where clients feel deeply understood while also supported in building insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve a space where they can show up honestly and be met with presence, warmth, respect, and compassion. I value authenticity, self-understanding and compassion, and the belief that healing is not about becoming perfect, but about feeling more grounded, more connected, and more at ease within yourself and your life experience. In therapy, I hope to offer a space that feels both supportive and real.
