I love working with children who tend to worry a lot, and expect a lot of themselves. I also work well with adolescents that want to come into therapy, and want to understand more about their symptoms or behaviors. These can range from general anxiety to self-harm.

I am most effective with people that really want to explore their past, and how it got them to where they are now. People that have found healing coming to me are usually people that have experienced trauma or difficulties growing up.

Along with my work with children and adolescents, I work closely with parents helping them through the tribulations of raising their family. When children or adolescents don't want to come into treatment, I can work with the parent as a coach to help them support their children.

You have probably tried multiple things before you got here. You have read books, followed advice, talked to teachers but it hasn't been enough. I praise you for taking this step. It's never too early to start therapy, and, most importantly it is ALWAYS better to start early. If your family is stressed because the tantrums seem to go on forever, if your child is too concerned about having to do everything perfectly, if they worry too much or you are concerned that they might be depressed, I may be the right person for you and your child.

To the part of you that knows that life is out there waiting for you, that you deserve joy and joy deserves you, that life is abundant and is ready for YOU! I am here to say YES! Let's do this together, let's grab the past by it's horns, front and center, let's hear it roar, until it moans no more. Let's tame it together and let it retire. The present will enter with all it's glory and it's messed up moments. The difference is that those moments will just be "messed up" and not a reflection of how worthy you are.

Our original bonds with our parents or caregivers determine so much of who we are, how we relate to others and what we believe about ourselves. It's everything really, and if it goes unchecked then we don't get the opportunity to unfold who we truly are, to question negative beliefs that might be preventing us from embracing life.

I use Neurofeedback and HRV to help my clients be in control of their attention, emotions and energy levels. A lot of therapy is spent teaching clients how to regulate these processes, with Neurofeedbak and HRV people can achieve these goals much faster, which then allows therapy to be more productive. Clients report less reactivity, better focus, less energy and mood ups and downs and better sleep.
