About My Clients
I often find myself working with adolescents and adults, particularly with depression, anxiety, and/or trauma. My clients often are interested in holistic health and, together, we move through challenges, stimulate thought processing, reduce stress, and foster deeper insights, all promoting well-being. I also work with couples.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed counselor with a PhD in the field. I've served in the counseling field for over 15 years. As a Nationally Certified Counselor, I offer services tailored to your unique journey toward healing and growth. I used an integrated approach, but frequently lean on aspects of Choice Theory, Cognitive Behavior Theory, and movement-based theories. As a Certified Level 1 Run Walk Talk Therapist, I offer movement-based sessions to support clients with the additional mental health benefits of movement and the outdoors. Together, I'll offer pscyhoeducation and we'll develop coping skills, foster resilience, and explore new perspectives.
