My Background and Approach
The therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is the strongest predictor of whether therapy will be successful or not. As a therapist, there is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing the people I work alongside, grow into healthier versions of themselves. Our therapeutic environment will be a safe space for you, with plenty of validation, support, and growth. I have an array of experience to guide individuals struggling with their mental health journey. The remedies used in session are Dialectial Behavioral therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and Mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my belief that everyone deserves support and access to quality mental health services. As a lesbian, person of color, and a single mom I know what it is like to feel alone, marginalized, and overwhelmed. Just know that you don’t have to go through this alone! I am an experienced professional who would be honored to walk with you through your mental health journey and help you become the best version of yourself.
