About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, and couples who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, emotional disconnection, communication difficulties, stress, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy helping clients who feel stuck in patterns they want to change but aren’t sure how. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand their emotions, strengthen their relationships, communicate more effectively, and navigate life more easily
My Background and Approach
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples in both private practice and school-based settings, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, emotional difficulties, and self-esteem. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and relational. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, attachment-based, experiential, and relational therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and goals. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely understood, while also gaining practical tools to create meaningful change. Together, we can explore the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you feeling stuck and develop healthier ways of coping, communicating, and connecting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has a story that deserves to be heard with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. I value authenticity, meaningful relationships, personal growth, and the courage it takes to be vulnerable and honest with ourselves and others. I believe people are shaped by their relationships, experiences, culture, and environment, and that understanding these influences can help us better understand ourselves. At the same time, I believe we have the ability to make intentional choices and create change, even when changing old patterns can feel difficult. As a therapist, I strive to create an environment where people of different backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and life experiences feel respected and welcome. I especially value creating space for conversations that can sometimes be difficult to have elsewhere. I hope that therapy can be a place where you can be yourself, feel understood, and develop a deeper understanding of who you are and how you want to live.
