About My Clients
Are anxiety, stress, or past experiences making it difficult to enjoy life or feel like yourself? Perhaps you're navigating a life transition, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. I believe everyone has capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years across a variety of settings, including community mental health, psychiatric and acute crisis facilities, and private practice. This experience has allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and navigate a wide range of concerns and life circumstances. My clinical background, along with experience providing supervision, managing programs, and training mental health professionals, has shaped a thoughtful and individualized approach to therapy. In private practice, I focus on understanding each client’s unique experiences and tailoring treatment to their needs, goals, and pace. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and solution-focused. I draw from evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ERP, and EMDR, and tailor treatment based on each client’s goals and circumstances.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should provide both a space for understanding and reflection, as well as practical tools to support meaningful change. My role is to provide a secure, supportive space where we can work toward the goals that are important to you, at a pace that feels comfortable. I consider it a privilege to work alongside individuals during times of growth and change.
