About My Clients
My ideal client is reflective and motivated to understand recurring patterns in their relationships, emotions, and thoughts. They seek insight and growth, not just symptom relief, and value candor, humor, and playfulness in the therapeutic process. Together, we explore connections between past and present to foster awareness, flexibility, and meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
’m Naomi Greenfield. I recently completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I see my role as both a collaborator and a curious observer, helping you make sense of the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and connect. Being early in my career means I bring humility, openness, and a strong connection to current approaches in the field. I’ve worked with college students, veterans, individuals with chronic illness, cancer survivors, those experiencing grief, older adults, and people undergoing gender transitions. I view it as a privilege to work with individuals during vulnerable and meaningful moments in their lives. My style is integrative. I draw from cognitive-behavioral approaches and attachment theory, while centering the therapeutic relationship as a space for reflection, candor, and growth. I bring humor, directness, and warmth, and value collaboration and honesty.
