About My Clients
I welcome diverse groups of clients. I talk with potential clients by phone for free before accepting appointments, the relationship fit between therapist and client is important. If you are looking for a couples therapist I am here to help. I split my time between individual and couples work.
My Background and Approach
MS degree in Marriage Family Child Counseling and School Counseling. I am a client centered therapist, meaning sessions are about you, your problems, your hopes, and I will follow where you need to go. I am trustworthy and nonjudgmental, that is the feedback I get from others!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all born to live full and satisfying lives. While pain and struggles are normal, there is also joy and contentment. There is too much judgment in this world. We should all be working to uplift others. I lived through the AIDS crisis and it changed my life and my practice. I lost a loved one to AIDS. I learned how grief can swallow you and how to come out of a dark place with a hopeful attitude.
