About My Clients
My clients are often thoughtful, caring people who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, or life transitions. Many are navigating school, family, cultural, or personal pressures while trying to better understand themselves and create healthier patterns. I work with children, teens, and adults in a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where they can feel safe, heard, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is compassionate, relational, and collaborative. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely safe, supported, and understood. I integrate humanistic, CBT, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, stress, school-related challenges, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My background in school-based mental health has strengthened my understanding of how emotional well-being, family systems, academic pressures, and social experiences intersect. I value culturally responsive care and creating an inclusive space where clients feel respected and empowered. My goal is to help clients build insight, coping skills, confidence, and healthier patterns while feeling respected and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe enough to be fully human, without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out. Healing often begins through authentic connection, self-awareness, compassion, and learning healthier ways to respond to life’s challenges. I believe each person already carries strengths and resilience, even during difficult seasons, and therapy can help reconnect them to those parts of themselves. I value curiosity, cultural humility, empathy, honesty, and creating a collaborative relationship where clients feel heard and respected. I also understand the importance of honoring family dynamics, cultural experiences, identity, and generational patterns that shape how people experience emotions, relationships, and healing. I hope to support clients in creating greater balance, insight, confidence, and emotional well-being.
