About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, parents and couples, navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, burnout, identity questions, relationship stress, and cultural or family pressures. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next step. I also support couples, parents and working through communication challenges, conflict, or major life transitions. My style is warm, affirming, and grounded in cultural and identity responsiveness.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and bring over a decade of experience in the mental health field. My approach is person centered, trauma informed, and culturally responsive, with training in Family Systems, ACT, CBT, DBT informed skills, mindfulness, and neurodivergent affirming care. I support clients in slowing down, understanding their emotions, and building healthier patterns in relationships. While my work is grounded in evidence based practices, it is also deeply relational. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and supported without pressure or judgment. For adults, I specialize in navigating the transitions that shape identity, purpose, and self worth. For couples, I help partners understand each other’s emotional worlds, improve communication, and build connection that feels safe and secure.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should honor the whole person, your story, culture, values, and lived experience. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that every person deserves a space where they don’t have to shrink themselves to be understood. I’m committed to culturally responsive care and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including immigrants, first generation college students, and those navigating identity within multiple worlds. I value authenticity, balance, and helping clients build lives rooted in alignment rather than survival mode.
