My Personal Beliefs and Interests
New clients often ask me what therapy will look like if they work with me and my answer is "it depends" - both on what my client is bringing to therapy and how they hope to change and grow through the therapeutic work. I draw on a wide variety of modalities and, in collaboration with my client, will use a combination of whichever therapeutic approaches seem most suited to what my client is hoping to achieve when working with me. My approach is guided by my firm belief that, with some guidance, everyone can access the healing spirit that they have within themselves. - - - "Anything that's human is mentionable and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less unsettling, and less scary." - Fred Rogers “It's never too late to be what you might have been" George Eliot—— "What you do today can improve all your tomorrows." - Ralph Marston
