About My Clients
In the last 19 years, I have worked with clients from birth to end of life in various settings. I have been exposed to clients of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and religious beliefs. I approach clients with humility and open-mindedness. Being an Iranian American, I approach therapy with a culturally aware and strengths-based lens that incorporates mindfulness and person-centered therapy. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, grief, relationships struggles, & women's issues
My Background and Approach
We all want to manage the challenges of life to live a more fulfilled life. Easy enough, but sadly seems unattainable for most. I hope to help my clients address ineffective patterns and establish healthy coping strategies that support them and allow them to reach their goals. My process involves creating a non-judgmental safe space to process difficult life challenges and events throughout talk therapy. I work with the client to develop a treatment plan that involves emotional processing, coping skills, and finding meaning in life. I like to provide reading materials, homework, and exercises to give my clients the tools they need to succeed.
