About My Clients
Many of the clients I work with suffer from stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships issues. I prefer using different evidence based techniques, depending on what the particular need of the client is. I work with a lot of children, adolescents, and young adults utilizing play therapy, art therapy, and career counseling. I also work with a lot of adults, taking a holistic approach to enhance ones social & emotional well-being; which combine to support the individual as a whole.
My Background and Approach
I aim to meet the specific needs of my clients and provide them with the right skills and tools to go about their daily lives. I want to help each client gain self-awareness and heal both mentally and emotionally. I prefer using different evidence based techniques, depending on what the particular need of the client is.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am multi-culturally trained to work with people from diverse backgrounds. I ensure that regardless of sex, race, orientation, or creed, each client is treated equally and with respect in a safe, welcoming environment. I believe that when we focus on an individual as a full person, and not just a sum of their parts, we can reach them on every level. Counseling is a process that extends beyond the therapy session, as I truly believe that individuals need support in all aspects of their lives in order to be able to heal and be content. Based on each individual client’s strengths and needs, I create plans and provide counseling, support, and services that help them succeed, tailoring an approach unique to their needs. I want to provide clients with the tools they need so they are fully equipped to handle the next steps in their lives. I look forward to helping you!
