My Background and Approach
At Peakworks Counseling, my approach blends Eastern philosophies, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care to guide individuals toward healing, resilience, and growth. I honor each person’s unique experiences, offering a compassionate and holistic path to inner peace and self-awareness. Using a blend of culturally responsive practices and evidence-based modalities, I create a safe, supportive space for exploration and transformation. Together, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with compassion, connection, and the courage to be seen for who you truly are. My values of kindness, respect, and resilience guide the way I show up with clients, creating a safe and supportive space for growth. I am passionate about social justice, accessibility, and building inclusive communities where every voice is valued. Beyond my work as a therapist, I serve as a board member of my local Community Dining Room, an organization dedicated to reducing food insecurity and strengthening community bonds. Giving back in this way reflects my deep belief in collective care — that healing happens not only within ourselves, but also in how we support one another. I integrate these values into my practice at Peakworks Counseling, walking alongside clients on their journeys of healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.
