About My Clients
My ideal client would be willing to embrace creativity as a tool for transformation, utilizing art and expression to connect their mind, body, and spirit in meaningful ways.
My Background and Approach
As a Mental Health and Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner with a foundation in Adlerian Psychology, I offer a client-centered approach that blends both verbal and nonverbal methods of healing. Through expressive arts—which include movement, sound, and visual arts—I create opportunities for clients to explore emotions, experiences, and strengths in ways that go beyond words. My work emphasizes uncovering and building upon each individual’s unique strengths, using creative expression and mindfulness practices to support self-awareness, healing, and personal growth. I enjoy integrating dream work, play, body-centered practices, art making, and storytelling to help clients connect psychological insights with holistic, whole-person approaches. My goal is always to provide a culturally responsive and supportive space where authentic connection and meaningful change can flourish.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own experience surviving a brain injury deeply shaped my passion for supporting individuals healing from trauma or navigating life after a medical event. Through my journey, I discovered the power of art practices in fostering wellness and self-expression. I believe that reality is shaped by our perception and that our experiences—both painful and joyful—are some of life’s greatest teachers. This perspective guides my work in collaborating with clients to uncover strength, build understanding, and cultivate a sense of belonging as they move toward meaningful life tasks such as love, connectio ofn, and purposeful work. I use the word collaborating rather than helping because I believe healing happens in a relationship built on equality—working side by side rather than from the top down
