About My Clients
My ideal clients are youth, adolescents, and families seeking compassionate, neuroaffirming, and culturally responsive support. I specialize in working with Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD youth and their caregivers, as well as children and teens experiencing anxiety, trauma, and emotional or relational challenges. I also welcome families navigating complex systems, including those from diverse cultural and immigrant backgrounds.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 14 years in immigration and refugee services. That experience shaped my understanding of how systems influence mental health. Today, I bring that perspective into therapy, offering compassionate, culturally grounded, neuroaffirming, trauma-responsive care. I primarily work with youth and family systems. My areas of expertise include neuroaffirming care, working with Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD youth and families. I have extensive experience working with social and performance anxiety as well as trauma, having worked 10+ years with immigrants, refugees, and survivors of abuse and/or domestic violence. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in relationships, identities, experiences, and the systems we navigate every day. My practice is rooted in trauma-responsive, strengths-based, and relational approaches. I work from the belief that people are inherently resilient and that healing often begins when we feel genuinely seen and understood.
