About My Clients
My ideal clients are mothers in Massachusetts, from pregnancy through the first decade after birth. They come to me anxious or flat since the baby came, replaying birth trauma, carrying the mental load alone, or dreading the return to work after leave. Most have held it together for months. We start with what's heaviest that week. From there we put language to what you're feeling and build a plan that holds up on four hours of sleep. I'm a mom of five and a hospital clinical social worker on lab
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts, with an MSW from Westfield State University and a BSW from Regis College. My hospital work is in labor and delivery and on the postpartum floor in Boston, and before that in maternal and pediatric care, so I've sat with families through easy births, hard ones, and losses. Very little you tell me will be new to me, and you won't have to soften it to protect me. I'm also a mom of five who has gone back to work after maternity leave twice, once straight into overnight shifts. That means I know the difference between advice that sounds good and a plan you can actually run on four hours of sleep. I specialize in perinatal mental health: anxiety and depression in pregnancy and postpartum, birth that didn't go as planned, matrescence, the mental load, and the return to work after leave. Sessions are by video across Massachusetts, in English, Haitian Creole, or French.
