About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next? Adulthood can bring significant changes in life, relationships, and identity. I primarily work with young adults, teens and children, experiencing emotional overwhelm in major life transitions. Whether you're adjusting to college or work, navigating a breakup, struggling with family relationships, or trying to better understand yourself, therapy can help you develop greater clarity and confidence in your next steps!
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, understood, and comfortable being themselves. My primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I use trauma-informed practices, often working with mindfulness and CBT to help you manage both physical and mental reactions to emotional distress. With these and other methods, we will find the thoughts and feelings holding you back. During our work together we will process and discuss the things that you are currently experiencing and have experienced in your life, as well as learn tools to help with them. Most of my clients find that having a place to share these things openly is beneficial to them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the life that you envision for yourself is more than possible. Too often we are unsupported and discouraged in reaching in our dreams. I can provide a place where you have the support to create a vision for your life, and build the confidence to accomplish it. You deserve to live the life you've always wanted!
