About My Clients
How we story our lives shapes our identities and gives them meaning. Sometimes those stories become "stuck," turning into barriers rather than paths forward. I enjoy working with people who are seeking new possibilities within themselves and in their relationships, especially through creative forms of expression. Together, we draw on your values, strengths, and lived experience to move toward what matters most to you. Andemos juntos, let's move along together.
My Background and Approach
Growing up in Chile in a Chilean Chinese family, I've learned firsthand what it's like to navigate different cultural experiences. Since moving to California in 2016, I've continued to explore what it means to adapt and grow in new environments. I offer therapy in English, Spanish, and Spanglish so that you can feel comfortable expressing yourself in the language that feels right to you. I work with individuals and families who are dealing with things like anxiety, depression, identity, life transitions, immigration, cultural adaptation, and body image. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in understanding that each person's story is unique. I often bring creative ways into our sessions, like art, play, or storytelling, so that we can explore in ways that resonate with you. Together, we'll create a space where your strengths are valued, resilience is nurtured, and you feel empowered to shape your own path, andando, being and becoming, at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing doesn't require standing still to be analyzed and fixed. It happens in the continuous present, being, moving, and becoming, all at once. I believe curiosity, not judgment, opens the door to change, and that you are the expert of your own life, not me. My work is grounded in cultural humility: I don't assume I understand your experience until you've shown me. I believe language matters, so I hold space in English, Spanish, and Spanglish for whatever feels most like home to you. And I believe creativity, whether through art, humor, play, or storytelling, can reach places that words alone sometimes can't. Above all, I believe no one should have to navigate life's in between moments alone. Outside the therapy room, you'll usually find me with a camera in hand, out on a run, or spending time in nature with the people I love.
