My Background and Approach
Mountainside Behavioral Health is a female-owned Denver-area practice led by Clinical Director Emily Biggs-Heisler, Ph.D. Our licensed and credentialed clinicians provide evidence-based care grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed treatment, and DBT-Prolonged Exposure when clinically appropriate. We offer individual therapy, couples and family therapy, DBT skills groups, parent support, and telehealth. Our work combines structured skill-building with compassion, collaboration, and personalized treatment planning.
