About My Clients
Most of the people I meet with are young adults, professionals, and/or parents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck in self-doubt, or disconnected from themselves, even when they’re functioning well on the outside. I am great at helping people find hope that things can be better than they are now, and I am looking forward to sharing that hope with you.
My Background and Approach
My approach is trauma-informed and body-based, meaning we pay attention to both thoughts and emotions and how stress and past experiences live in the body. You don’t need any dance or movement experience—movement therapy simply offers another way to understand what’s going on and build tools for regulation and confidence. I work best with clients who want to feel more grounded, emotionally resilient, and confident in their daily lives. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and paced to meet you where you are. I am trained in several evidence-based healing methods including EMDR, TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), as well as solution-focused therapy. I will learn about what is affecting you currently and we can create a plan for how to best treat it as a collaborative team.
