About My Clients
My clients are children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression. Many feel lost, disconnected, or like something is just "off" — without always knowing why. You or your child may feel deeply, struggle with confidence, or carry wounds from the past that quietly shape the present. I especially enjoy working with highly sensitive people and those healing from childhood or complex trauma. Available in-person in Bend, OR, and via telehealth.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) with an MSW from the University of Denver, practicing under clinical supervision at Empowered Hearts Collective in Bend, OR. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic — I believe healing happens when we tend to the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I draw primarily from EMDR and IFS, two evidence-based modalities with deep roots in trauma healing. I also weave in CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered approaches, depending on each client's needs. Whether we're processing past wounds or building new skills for the present, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. Every person carries a unique history, identity, and set of strengths — and that deserves to be honored. My work is grounded in a social justice framework, meaning I recognize how systems of oppression, marginalization, and inequality shape mental health and lived experience. I strive to create a space that is affirming, inclusive, and free from judgment. I believe people are not defined by their trauma or their diagnoses. You are whole, even when it doesn't feel that way. My role isn't to fix you — it's to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have always been there. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and that safety, trust, and genuine human connection are at the foundation of everything we do together.
