About My Clients
Morgan Tylor, LMSW, is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker with experience in individual and family counseling and with those dealing with an array of mental health diagnoses and behavioral challenges. Morgan is committed to creating strong therapeutic alliances with clients and always advocating to meet their needs.
My Background and Approach
Morgan graduated from the University of Delaware, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a minor in Psychology. Morgan went right on to graduate school at Widener University, receiving her Master’s in Social Work with a Certification in Trauma. Morgan has worked in many public schools, alternative schools, and outpatient mental health agencies working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Morgan believes that building rapport and creating a safe environment for her clients to express their thoughts and feelings openly is an essential, if not the most critical, part of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Morgan takes an eclectic approach in sessions, where she utilizes all different techniques and interventions, depending on which is the best fit for the specific and unique needs of the client. Morgan utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, as well as Trauma specific interventions. Morgan strives to create an open, non-judgmental, and comfortable space for all clients. She looks forward to working with you and/or your child!
