Anxiety can take many forms. Worrying about the future, panic attacks, difficulty sleeping, perfectionism, wondering if you are worthy of acceptance, procrastination, low self-esteem, paying very close to those around you to keep the peace, or assuming that others are judging you. Each person’s experience with anxiety is unique. The good news is that anxiety is treatable. I will work with you to identify roots of your anxiety and create a treatment plan specific to you.

IFS is an approach that work to identify all the different parts of ourselves. IFS focuses on healing wounded parts and restoring mental balance by changing the dynamics between the various parts. The ultimate goal of IFS is to regain control of our true inner voice and find clarity that was once distorted by the wounded parts of ourselves.

Sand tray therapy allows individuals to build their world using miniatures and sand. This experiential technique is helpful for all ages to visualize aspects of their current situation they may not have considered otherwise.

Experiential therapists believe we need new experiences to heal from past experiences, especially when those past experiences have gotten stuck and unprocessed. Experiential therapy refers to treatment approaches that are more interactive, such as sand tray, art, music re-enactments, and others.
