About My Clients

Maybe you’re feeling anxious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. Maybe your relationship is changing, you’re exploring your identity, or your family is learning how to navigate a new normal. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and queer couples navigating relationships, separation, divorce, and co-parenting. You don’t have to have the right words or all the answers. Come as you are—we’ll figure out what moving forward looks like together.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s in Counseling and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Counseling from Adler Graduate School. Before moving into full-time therapy, I worked as a school counselor, giving me a unique perspective on how relationships, family, identity, school, and community can all impact our mental health. Today, I work with teens, adults, couples, and families, with a special passion for LGBTQ+ affirming care. I particularly enjoy supporting queer couples navigating communication, connection, separation, divorce, and co-parenting as well as clients exploring identity, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and down-to-earth. I draw from CBT, solution-focused, strengths-based, and family systems approaches, but I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. We’ll find what works for you, with plenty of room for authenticity, curiosity, and even a little humor along the way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people deserve spaces where they can show up fully as themselves - not just the parts that feel easy or socially acceptable. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, queer-affirming care is both personally and professionally meaningful to me. I believe LGBTQ+ rights are human rights, Black lives matter, trans people deserve safety and dignity, and families are defined by love and connection - not by one particular structure. I value curiosity, authenticity, humor, community, and the willingness to keep learning. I strive to practice with cultural humility and recognize how racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and other systems of oppression can impact mental health, relationships, and our sense of belonging. You won’t have to leave parts of yourself at the door when you come to therapy with me. I want the therapy room to be a place where your identities, culture, relationships, and lived experiences are welcomed, respected, and part of the conversation.
