About My Clients

I work with clients who feel disconnected from themselves, struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing, and often ask, “Who am I and what do I actually want?” Many are dealing with trauma, burnout, inner criticism, or difficulty setting boundaries. My clients are often high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or lost internally. Together, we work toward self-trust, emotional regulation, and a more grounded, authentic sense of identity.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Psychologist with experience supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, burnout, and identity work. I specialize in helping people untangle long-standing patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism, and people-pleasing so they can feel more grounded in who they are. My approach blends EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and boundary-focused interventions. We focus on both processing past experiences and building present-day skills for emotional regulation, self-compassion, and relational clarity. I also help clients reconnect with their internal voice, reduce shame-based thinking, and develop a stronger sense of agency in their lives. Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored—I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, we build a plan together that supports healing, integration, and meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves—without performing, pleasing, or shrinking. I value authenticity, autonomy, and the right for each person to define their own identity, values, and meaning. As a queer therapist, I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and creating a space where identity exploration and authenticity are fully supported. My practice is grounded in inclusivity, trauma-informed care, and respect for lived experience across diverse identities. I believe many emotional struggles are adaptive responses to environments where people had to disconnect from themselves to survive. My work focuses on helping clients unlearn shame, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect with who they are underneath survival patterns. I support clients in building lives that feel aligned, not just functional, and in cultivating self-acceptance alongside meaningful change.
