About My Clients

My clients are often introspective and deeply feeling. Many identify as LGBTQ+ and are navigating attachment wounds, spiritual questions, or identity shifts. They may struggle with anxiety, relationship patterns, or feeling “different” or misunderstood. They’re ready to look beneath the surface, not just to reduce symptoms, but also to understand themselves more fully and to build relationships rooted in authenticity and self-trust.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in psychodynamic, depth-oriented, and existential therapy. I help clients explore how early attachment experiences, unconscious patterns, and core beliefs shape present-day relationships and self-concept. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, we look at the deeper roots of anxiety, relational conflict, and identity struggles. I integrate attachment theory and parts work to support lasting change. Our work may include examining recurring dynamics, exploring internal conflicts, and strengthening your capacity to tolerate uncertainty while clarifying values and meaning. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I balance depth exploration with practical insight, helping you better understand yourself while also making tangible shifts in how you relate and choose.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is both a sacred and practical space; a place where accountability and compassion coexist. I value depth, authenticity, and the courage it takes to examine our patterns rather than blame ourselves or others for them. My work is grounded in existential and relational principles: we are shaped by our history, culture, and systems of power; yet we still retain agency within them. I affirm LGBTQ+ identities and work from an inclusive, anti-oppressive lens. I believe in bodily autonomy, social justice, and the importance of naming how race, gender, sexuality, religion, and socioeconomic status influence mental health. I have also taught trauma-informed self-defense to women and queer communities, and I believe empowerment includes both psychological and physical safety. I care deeply about growth that does not bypass discomfort. I do not believe in quick fixes. I believe in depth, integration, and sustainable change.
