About My Clients
The practice of therapy for me involves melding the present with our past. For many people, the pains and struggles that are interfering in our lives, are rooted, in that they stem from possibly larger and more painful experiences. For those that this is not the case, we practice therapymore in the moment, using skills-based and reflection strategies to find a more peaceful and grounded life. I bring with me human experiences and evidence-based practices to help my clients heal.
My Background and Approach
I bring with me these tools and all I ask for my clients is to bring their authentic selves. I have worked tirelessly throughout my career to train, educate and test my knowledge and ability to ensure my clients receive the best possible care. I do not ask my clients to be perfect in therapy, however, I do require a high standard for myself to be nonbiased, and accepting of individuals' backgrounds and beliefs. My highest priority is providing spaces where people can open up without feeling judged or persecuted. I aim to do this by collaborating with my clients and truly viewing them as the expert within themselves. Tailoring techniques and experiential practices to each of my clients based on need as well as their cultural backgrounds.
