About My Clients
You may be successful and capable in many areas of your life, yet still feel disconnected from yourself, your partner, or your sexuality. I work with individuals and couples navigating intimacy concerns, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and sexual wellness. Whether you’re rebuilding connection, healing from the past, or learning to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a space to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed psychotherapist, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and EMDR-trained clinician with experience supporting individuals and couples through trauma, relationship concerns, sexual wellness, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I am licensed to provide therapy in California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and sex-positive. I integrate EMDR, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral approaches, relationship and attachment work, and specialized sex therapy to create treatment that reflects your individual needs. At Amora Therapy, I believe meaningful healing goes beyond reducing symptoms. Our work can help you understand your story, strengthen your relationship with yourself, cultivate more fulfilling connections, and create space for greater intimacy, confidence, and authenticity in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where every part of you is welcomed with curiosity, compassion, and respect. I value inclusivity, cultural humility, sexual autonomy, and the belief that healthy relationships and fulfilling sexuality can look different for every person. I am passionate about reducing shame around conversations about sex, intimacy, relationships, and mental health. I believe we heal through meaningful connection, and that learning to approach ourselves with greater gentleness, patience, and kindness can transform the way we move through the world. Outside of the therapy room, I value movement, creativity, travel, time by the ocean, and the relationships that make life meaningful. These values influence the warmth and humanity I bring into my work.
