About My Clients
I welcome clients of all cultures and identities. I look forward to creating a space that feels collaborative and receptive to the uniqueness of our individual experiences. Together, we work on cultivating presence and reconnecting with your values to ground you in a greater sense of agency. Rather than rushing toward solutions, we begin by noticing and accepting what comes up most in the now.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology and am currently a Master’s student in Mental Health Counseling at the City College of New York (CCNY). As a counselor in training, I tie my current schooling with my previous experiences in human services, including mental health skill-building and community stabilization work that emphasized resilience, courage, and curiosity. I also draw from my training as a 200-hour registered yoga teacher to support nervous system regulation and intentional rest. I am particularly interested in concerns related to stress and anxiety, trauma, and managing interpersonal relationships. My approach integrates Cognitive Processing Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques through a holistic, emotion-focused lens. I view wellbeing as an ongoing practice - one that includes self-awareness, interconnectedness, and a willingness to learn as we continue actively becoming ourselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the only lasting truth is change, both within ourselves and the world around us. I am most interested in exploring how we can learn to navigate change with greater awareness, flexibility, and self-trust.
