About My Clients
My ideal client is a child, teen, or young adult who is nervous to reach out because they fear getting linked with a therapist who "just doesn’t get it”; maybe they are having trouble at school, increased fighting with their parents and friends, or are feeling "stuck". I want to help them feel like themselves again, and if they don't feel like they have a good sense of who they are - I can help with that too!
My Background and Approach
My experience includes working with children and adolescents on a variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, or life changes. I also have training in working with families and parents. I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. My clients appreciate my warm and welcoming approach. I focus on using evidenced-based practices such as EMDR, solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to assist clients in creating meaningful changes in their lives.
