About My Clients
Struggling with life balance is a common experience that most of us women face at some point in our lives. There’s never enough time and there's only one of you. Sometimes we find ourselves wondering if we can keep it together just one more day. You need to know that it is possible to experience rest in your soul; that your life can be directed, meaningful and manageable. You can learn how to sit in the place of peace and contentment, realize your true potential, and grow in maturity.
My Background and Approach
I provide a therapeutic approach that is warm, empathic, and supportive. My style is collaborative and solution–focused. I tend to artfully weave elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, as well as experiential and existential approaches into treatment. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I’ve been in the behavioral health field for over 11 years, and previously worked with women of all ages in residential treatment, on probation and within the homeless community who all struggled with mental health, substance use and criminogenic issues.
