About My Clients

I’m passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families understand themselves more deeply so they can grow, heal, and thrive. My work centers on providing comprehensive psychological evaluations, parent coaching, therapy, and school advocacy, always with compassion, clarity, and a genuine commitment to the people I serve.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed psychologist with specialized training and extensive experience in comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults. I conduct evidence-based assessments for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning differences, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood concerns, and executive functioning. My evaluations are thorough and integrative, providing clear explanations of strengths and challenges, accurate diagnoses when appropriate, and practical, individualized recommendations that clients, families, and schools can use right away. In counseling, I use a developmentally informed, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based approach that helps clients build insight, emotional regulation skills, and resilience. Clients benefit from a supportive, collaborative therapeutic space paired with concrete strategies that translate into real-life change. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, confidence, and tools that support meaningful, lasting growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a psychologist, my work is grounded in intersectionality and lived experience. I am a first-generation immigrant, a Black woman, and a clinician who understands how culture, identity, and systemic barriers influence mental health and access to care. I believe healing cannot be separated from context—race, gender, family history, and societal expectations all shape how we experience stress, resilience, and growth. I value equity, advocacy, and culturally responsive care, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, understood, and safe being their full selves. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating identity, transitions, and complex systems. My goal is to help clients build insight, self-compassion, and practical tools while honoring both their challenges and their strengths.
