About My Clients
My clients are often high-achieving, deeply caring people who tend to be their own harshest critics. Many come to me struggling with their relationship with food and their body, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I also work with individuals navigating the transition into parenthood, including pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can reconnect with yourself, and move toward a more compassionate way of living.
My Background and Approach
I'm a relationally-oriented therapist who believes that healing happens in connection—with yourself, your body, and others. I specialize in eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, and perinatal mental health. My background includes working in community mental health and higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment, which helps me meet clients with a deep understanding of both clinical complexity and everyday struggle. I completed my certification in perinatal mental health through PSI in 2024. In our work together, I will blend supportive conversation with concrete tools, drawing from ACT, IFS, CBT, and DBT. This means you’ll gain both insight and practical skills to help you navigate life with more self-compassion and clarity. Whether you're working to repair your relationship with food, manage anxiety, or adjust to the changes of parenthood, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that eating disorder recovery is possible. I believe that people, regardless of their body size, race, sexual orientation or gender, deserve compassionate, quality care. I also believe there are good reasons for why we have learned to cope and survive in the ways that we have, and I also believe that we can learn to change our coping methods when they no longer serve us.
