About My Clients
Asking for help isn’t always comfortable, but I find the uncomfortable places are often the ones filled with the most purpose and possibilities. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my approach is to listen and engage a client’s story in a way that instills hope, encourages curiosity and insight, and facilitates growth. My hope is to help my clients see the value of the process, cultivate their relationships with grace and vulnerability, and thrive in their purpose.
My Background and Approach
I started my career in a non-profit where I worked primarily with populations of low SES providing individual, family, children, adolescents and adults services, as well as supervising interns. I chose this profession because I want to empower others and support people through adversity. As a mental heath professionals I am here to inspire resilience and break down the stigma that surrounds it. We'll address challenges related to relationships, life transitions, career, self acceptance, culture, spirituality, and identity. My approach is a combination of interpersonal and cognitive behavioral therapy, which helps you develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, behaviors and supplies you with the skills to overcome challenges.
