About My Clients
Life tends to throw us curves balls - sometimes from every direction. It can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unsure of ourselves, what decision to make, or which direction to go. My goal is to create a safe space where you can feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as you heal & grow and become the best version of yourself. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, & families as they build deeper understanding, healthier communication, and stronger connections with themselves & others.
My Background and Approach
I am a Provisionally Licensed Social worker and graduated from the University of Wyoming with my Masters degree. Through my clinical experience I have adopted a clinical approach that is collaborative and client-centered. I tend to move a bit slower to build rapport with clients so they feel safe, comfortable, and accepted. I incorporate experiential (sand tray, art, etc.), somatic (body-based), trauma-informed, and soon to be EMDR therapies into practice as I recognize that healing doesn't always happen through talking alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we have all experienced hardships in life. Whether it's from the small 't' traumas that quietly shape us, or the bit 'T' traumas that alter our entire lives. Pain is part of being human but sometimes that pain is so unbearable it keeps us stuck. But I believe that we all have the capacity and potential to grow, heal, and become our authentic selves. It's not about becoming someone new; it about learning and reconnecting with who you are beneath all of the hurt. When we feel safe enough we can move through the uncomfortable parts of healing and growing and discover parts of ourselves we didn't know was there.
