Sometimes things happen in relationships that cause discord. I use and emotional-focused therapy approach to help couples in mono, poly, or open relationships gain communication skills that will help them understand each other. Additionally, I help each individual within the relationship understand themselves so that they can better understand how they can be present in the relationship.

Self-esteem is so important to access your best self. Our actions are often directly related to how we feel about ourselves. My goal in helping you to gain confidence is to help you understand the stories you tell yourself about what your capabilities are. Whether it be through comparison, lack of worth, or historical messages of your capabilities that cause you to define who you are today, we will work together to challenge negative thinking by challenging self-defeating beliefs.

For those who struggle with anxiety, it feels like you are walking into a Lion's den when others are telling you that you are walking into a room of kittens. Those who struggle with anxiety experience fear that others find hard to understand. I specialize in anxiety-related disorders and will help you to understand how the brain works, tools that will help you to manage anxiety, and techniques that you can use to identify an anxiety attack approaching.

I believe that in order to live our most meaningful life, it is important to move toward accepting situations and circumstances that are beyond our control. I believe that acceptance is the first step toward closure and forgiveness. I will help you to look deeper into bothersome situations and events to a place of peace so that you no longer let situations that cannot be changed keep you from living your most inspired life.
