About My Clients
Making the decision to come to therapy can often be difficult. I strive to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere to help foster change and overcome challenges. Utilizing a strength based approach, I draw from various modalities, including person centered, cognitive-behavioral, brainspotting and mindfulness, to best meet the needs of each client. The goal of therapy is to collaboratively move towards improving the quality of your life and emotional well-being.
My Background and Approach
I have specialized training in Maternal Mental Health (postpartum depression and anxiety, perinatal loss & grief, birth trauma) and working with clients who have experienced sexual trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety. Throughout my training I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings providing individual, family and group therapy to children, teens and adults. I use a variety of techniques to provide you with the tools needed to combat your intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, panic attacks, somatic symptoms and more. Collaboratively, we will create a plan to provide symptom relief and help you feel more in control of your life.
