My interests and areas of specialty include, but are not limited to; relationship issues, family conflict, addiction and recovery, self-esteem, infidelity, body image, depression, anxiety, coping skills, and life transitions and personal growth. I am very passionate about working with couples to help improve intimacy and navigate relationship difficulties.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can serve as an opportunity to foster growth, self-acceptance, reflection and a means of coping. My empathetic approach to therapy will highlight your strengths, preferences, and needs. I work through a lens of Family Systems, attachment-based, trauma informed, mindfulness-based, solution-focused and strength-based therapies. I am passionate about the work that I do, and meeting clients where they are at. We will discuss thoughts, feelings and goals and operate as a team to explore life's past hardships and present difficulties in hopes to work towards an improved lifestyle and hopeful future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the counseling process requires a trusting relationship between the counselor and the client. This process may be both emotional and challenging, however, it will also be rewarding in gaining a new opportunity to better know yourself. I am passionate about the idea that counseling can benefit anyone and everyone. I am both patient and present with my clients to help accompany them on their personal journey.
