My Background and Approach
I provide guidance, experience, and advanced training to families in Emotionally Focused Therapy. EFT gives relationships a path towards not just feeling better but acting better and staying better. EFT identifies the stuck pattern or negative cycle that all of us can find ourselves in, and gives you a step-by-step approach to slowing that cycle so you can express your deep emotions with each other, and ask for your needs to be heard and met. Each session is designed to provide learning, practicing and reinforcing a new way of doing things, and each session builds on your new pattern. You'll learn how to talk so your loved one hears and understands your care and empathy for them. Once you feel you have created lasting change, leave therapy with a new pattern, a positive cycle and a new outlook on the future of your relationship.
