About My Clients
I help teens and adults heal from narcissistic abuse, trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, depression, and anxiety. As an EMDR-certified therapist, I offer a compassionate, understanding, and collaborative approach to recovery.
My Background and Approach
With over 12 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), fully licensed in California and Illinois. I am EMDR trained and specialize in working with survivors of narcissistic abuse, codependency, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and individuals navigating relationships impacted by addiction. I work with clients ages 12 through older adulthood, including teens who are self-harming. As an immigrant myself, I bring a culturally sensitive lens to therapy and offer services in both English and Spanish. I also provide psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including VAWA, political asylum, deportation defense, U visas, and T visas. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in helping each person reclaim their voice and healing path.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive spaces where your voice is heard and your story matters. As a therapist, I’m deeply committed to social justice, equality, and creating inclusive spaces for all individuals—regardless of background, gender, or orientation. With over 10 years of experience working in a psychiatric hospital in Chicago, I’ve had the honor of serving underprivileged communities and walking alongside individuals through some of their darkest moments. I am an active member of the immigrant community and offer psychological evaluations for immigration cases including VAWA, political asylum, deportation defense, U visas, and T visas. I am also passionate about suicide prevention, children’s rights, and advocating for women, minorities, and those often left unheard. As an animal lover and proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, I believe in standing up for those in need—human or not. I welcome you to take the first step in your healing journey. Let’s wor
