About My Clients
My clients are diverse, often from historically underrepresented backgrounds, including BIPOC, queer & trans, neurodivergent, and women. I work extensively with founders, business owners, and leaders seeking to create ethical environments. Using a decolonial approach, I address workplace burnout, internalized oppression, and fostering healing and empowerment.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in bringing a decolonial psychology lens to all things work-related. I enjoy collaborating with clients on: work-related stress, burnout, boundaries, self-esteem, self-acceptance, relationship dynamics, conflict transformation, values-aligned work, ethically leading and managing people, identifying and honoring your needs + limits. We tend to replicate oppressive dynamics into other systems including the workplace. Usually these dynamics are learned and served a very important purpose in helping us survive and cope. As adults, these unhelpful dynamics appear as automatic thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve us and may even contradict our values. We will work together to explore these automatic patterns, identify core wounds and express stored emotions in a compassionate and affirming environment. We will also explore your needs, desires, limits and values. With intention, you will integrate this knowledge into your daily life and start living with purpose.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When we liberate ourselves, we liberate each other. I acknowledge the impact of systemic oppression on the health of individuals and believe community care is how we recover. I recognize the profound connection between our personal health and how we are able to show up as members of any community. Investing in our wellbeing is one of the most valuable investments we can make. My approach is grounded in consent & awareness of structures of power.
