I specialize in treating anxiety & trauma, I have successfully worked with high-achieving working professionals struggling with perfectionism, stress and work/life balance. My Background and Approach
My mission is to provide mindfulness-based interventions and developing safe coping skills to successfully manage distressing emotions and thoughts. I received my Master's of Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. I previously worked in the education sector for 23+ years. I have previous experience working with children, adolescents, and families presenting with a variety of emotional, social, and behavioral concerns while at the Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove. I have a special interest in working with Asian American communities that are struggling with intergenerational issues and feeling stuck between life transitions as they navigate and balance between their identity, mental health, and spirituality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow. I believe that there is always hope. I will work collaboratively with you to find the unhealthy learned behaviors that you needed to put into place to survive your childhood. I will work with you on learning to let go of these unhelpful behaviors and replace them with helpful ones. I will be with you supporting you in a safe space, so that you can grow and improve.
